Following a flat close for US markets on Friday and pending news from Europe, Australian markets are expected to have a flat morning start today.

The dollar is slightly higher this morning, currently trading at 102.42 US cents, up from Friday’s close of 102.33 US cents.

Local market movers this week include the Reserve Bank’s meeting tomorrow to determine the official cash rate for December, and several key indicators being released, including the TD Securities-Melbourne Institute inflation gauge for November, ANZ job advertisements series for November and unemployment figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
