2. Two men have gone missing near floodwaters at a shopping centre in Townsville after last being seen early Monday morning.
3. Tech stocks helped boost Wall Street for the start of the week. The Dow Jones and the S&P 500 both rose by about 0.7%, while the Nasdaq jumped ahead 1.15%.
4. The Reserve Bank will meet today and is expected to announce that interest rates will remain on hold at 1.5%.
5. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering declaring a national emergency to fund a border wall at his State of the Union address tomorrow.
