 Professional market players are being less bearish. CNBC interviewed John Buckingham, chief investment officer at Al Frank Asset Management in Laguna Beach, California and he was hopeful for the reporting season ahead. "We're getting the kinds of things you would hope to get to justify a rally in the market," he said. "The hope is that in the Q1 earnings season, companies are not missing expectations by wide margins. The hope is that executives are going to focus on the long-term opportunities that they can have as opposed to the short-term problems that they're facing."
